It's that time of year again to nominate for AACC elected offices. Offices open for nominations are President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer and three director at large positions. As per our by-laws:
Section I – Nominations
A. Solicitations for nominations will open during the September General Membership Meeting.
B. Any member may recommend any other member in good standing for office or may volunteer to serve as an officer by submitting the nomination to the Vice-President.
C. All nominations must be submitted prior to the motion to close the nominations during the October General Membership Meeting for consideration of election.
Section II – Elections
Election Term: All elected officers other than the Directors-at-Large will serve one-year terms, January 1 to December 31. The four (4) Directors-at-Large will serve two-year terms, January 1 to December 31, with staggered expirations in alternating years. The newly elected officers will be announced during the November General Membership Meeting.
Section III – Ballots Balloting will be conducted between the October and November General Membership Meetings. Online voting through the club website will be the preferential mode of voting. In addition, hand ballots will be available at the beginning of the November General Monthly Meeting and submitted to only the Vice-President prior to the convening of the November General Membership Meeting.
