AACC joins with Corvette Club of Aquitaine to form Sister Clubs

AACC Members, thanks to the great effort by Joel Selko we have established a Sister Club relationship with the Corvette Club Aquitaine in France. Joel and Claudia met them when they were on vacation in France. He has since helped communicate with them to help establish this partnership. They in turn have already sent us a welcome package with a souvenir club photo album highlighting their activities, a club patch and club stickers. We plan to send them a welcome package as well and have graciously extended a warm Texas welcome to their members should they ever visit the US. The link to their club is on the right side of the page. Since Joel has worked so hard to make this happen I have asked him to be our ambassador to their club. So the next time you see Joel, let him know how much you appreciate what he has done for our club!

Fisher House Thank You Letter

Fisher House Charity Toy Drop Off

It was great pride that the Alamo Area Corvette Club and Freedom Chevrolet were able to drop of the toys to the Fisher House Charity at Ft. Sam Houston and Lackland AFB. We will

be making a lot of children happy while one of the spouses is in the hospital. If you are not familiar with them, you should definitely see the good work they do to support military families that have members in base hospitals worldwide.

Fall 2016 Charity Car Show and Toy Drive

Paul Read Challenge Corvette Race at NOLA 2016

Paul Read raced his 1988 Challenge Corvette in the Sportscar Vintage
Racing Association (SVRA) at the NOLA Motorsport complex in

New Orleans, La. and took home two first place trophies. Additionally,
Robert and Ida Rodkey took home a trophy at the Hagerty Show and Shine
as well. Eleven AACC members traveled to watch the races and some

also participated in the Show and Shine!
